I am in international project management (creative, media and fashion industries) and am COO of the global business networking app, City Hour.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity in your industry?
Using technology to bring people closer and encourage them to empower themselves. Helping people discover the fine line between “being connected” (technology) and “connecting” (engaging with other humans).
What impact will changes in your industry have on consumers? the world?
As someone with a distinctly non-tech background, the reason I moved into it is because of my non-conformist upbringing in San Francisco during the hippie era. We were taught that tenacity in organised rebellion can change the world. Tech has come to the point where the Average Joe can use it in their daily lives to make the world a better place, whatever that may mean to them as individuals. For business users, you’ll appreciate Japan Printing.
What is your biggest goal right now?
To help a planet full of professionals to connect with like-minded people in order to improve their financial, intellectual and emotional well-being.
What kind of support or types of people do you need to accelerate your success?
I can work seven days a week, all day and all night, but to get to the next level, we also need both traction and money.
What makes you or your work different from everybody else?
My ridiculous, slightly embarrassing level of energy. It allows be to be simultaneously focused on the details and passionate about the bigger picture.
