What do you see as the biggest opportunity in your industry?
There’s a global explosion in tech based entrepreneurship that’s just getting started. The number of entrepreneurs and sustainable startups is growing exponentially.
I’m especially excited about startup ecosystems in Latin America and Africa.
What impact will changes in your industry have on consumers? the world?
The new normal is going to be 2 to 20 person companies that heavily leverage technology.
For people to have jobs, they are going to have to create jobs.
What is your biggest goal right now?
Spending more time coding and building things with my hands.

Gritty tech entrepreneurs that will keep going no matter what.
What makes you or your work different from everybody else?
Me: I’m a weirdsmobile which gives me a twisted perspective
Grew up the only white kid at the end of 6 hrs of dirt road in rural Honduras.
Worked as an ER / Trauma nurse for 20 years. I did everything from wipe butts and save lives to managing 700 people.
Went back to school for software engineering, moved to Silicon Valley and started building startups.
A meetup that I started 7 years ago took off. Now we consult for startups moving to Silicon Valley in exchange for equity, and we nurture startup ecosystems around the world
