What do you do?
Writer, researcher, curator, educator and ethical fashion activist
What do you see as the biggest opportunity in your industry?
mass market, high street brands producing capsule collections in partnership with high profile designers using their own waste.
What impact will changes in your industry have on consumers? the world?
It will require consumption to slow down, and encourage the appreciation and valuing of craft and slow design.
What is your biggest goal right now?
to partner with a film maker to produce a documentary for my next book
What kind of support or types of people do you need to accelerate your success?
a visionary film maker and a very generous grant to fund a partner documentary to my next book, a couple of really good interns to help me keep up with all my social media, an invitation from a luxury retailer to curate an ethical pop up shop in shop.
What makes you or your work different from everybody else?
I concentrate my writing and curation of ethical fashion at the luxury end of the market, with a focus on emerging cutting edge design.
