What do you do?
I am actually a multi type channel, which means I don’t only do one kind of videos. I started out doing lyrics videos and slowly added the gaming videos. Recently, I started looking into softwares like Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D to make intros because I wanted my channel to be independent from others such as having intros created by some other youtubers and having to mention them. So after learning the basics of After Effects, I started making many templates for others to use!
What do you see as the biggest opportunity in your industry?
The biggest opportunity is probably all about being yourself, not depending on others. That is actually on what MaxiJonson was made for. MaxiJonson is my way to share myself and show others that you can be yourself and still get something out of it instead of copying others and only getting views and subs.
What impact will changes in your industry have on consumers? the world?
I live by the words “Make your imagination come to life”. If you can imagine it, you can make it, you just need the willing and the time. I think the impact I will have is to inspire people to be themselves, I am just there to put some light to this and to say “Hey, I’m 16 years old! I started making videos at 8! If I can make it, you can too!”
What is your biggest goal right now?
My biggest goal is of course to grow a bigger audience, which is pretty hard when you have a multi type channel, but I’m getting there, slowly but surely. If I make one video that has 5 views only but that 1 of those views got help from me, I’m happy with that. So imagine doing this x1000!!!
What kind of support or types of people do you need to accelerate your success?
I need them to share the love! If my video helped them, entertained them or simply if they enjoy the kind of work I put into it, I need them to tell others because maybe there are other people that need it!
What makes you or your work different from everybody else?
Well, for example, when I started doing lyrics videos, I did a couple but I wasn’t satisfied inside myself: the videos were too much like the others (putting a whole paragraph of words). So I started working with a new program, Final Cut Pro X which let me be even more creative and start doing the lyrics videos way differently than others such as making them word per word with changing fonts, etc. For intros, well the intro world is pretty much all about making everything different than others, so as I make intros, I learn, as I learn, I evolve and each one of them is always better than the last one, especially when I started using Cinema 4D to make 3D intros.
