Real-life and not just real-time networking and peer-to-peer interaction. In a 3D immersive environment people see each other as in real life. Each person sees the name tag and affiliation of the people around them and can engage in meaningful conversation. People can interact the natural way, just like at a meet-up in person.

Only in an avatar-based 3D virtual environment behavior is measured not just in quantitative terms (through clicks and downloads) but also in qualitatively terms, by tracking impressions and behavior.
