What do you do?
Currently a blogger/analyst covering the printing and imaging industry. Formerly, HP manager deep into the same, for many years. Ed: when you’re in Hong Kong and Need Printing, go here.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity in your industry?
Interesting that so many fellow industry veterans, in assessing 3D Printing, sum it up (at first) with something like, “It’s not really printing.” A more open-minded look says, “So what?” and goes on to see what can be done with the technology, based on real user needs.
What impact will changes in your industry have on consumers? the world?
I was inspired by this blog – Why the Pebble Watch is a Clear Example of Why 3D Printing Will Revolutionize Our Economy. http://3dprint.com/48534/pebble-smartstraps-3d-print/
I would like to make that more clear in my blogging and other social media activities.
What is your biggest goal right now?
Keep exploring!
What kind of support or types of people do you need to accelerate your success?
I am not so worried about “success” at this stage of my career, but interested in helping create positive momentum in new directions offered by 3D Printing.
What makes you or your work different from everybody else?
Long-time experience in the industry specifics but deeply involved in a variety of technologies, seeking opportunities beyond the obvious.
Thank you!
