What do you do?
I am an independent marketing consultant as well as the marketing and communications director for Boostability.com.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity in your industry?
I think the biggest opportunity we have today is in our ability to predict the future. And that’s no joke! Take the time to be familiar with everything happening in technology. Consider how a new sci fi movie sees the future. Measure these thoughts against our recent history and you should know just what you can prepare yourself in business and marketing changes. More importantly, you can become the first to start a conversation about it!
What impact will changes in your industry have on consumers? the world?
Personally, I am an avid traveler and what I wish for the world is a uniform organization of information. Not every country is keen on Yelp. Not every country is even allowed to use Google. My goal is to take advantage of the free Internet and create tools that will combine social media throughout the world into a platform of information that can be used by everyone!
What is your biggest goal right now?
Right now, my biggest goal is to bring Boostability into the future alongside their massive internal growth as a company. I want help move this company beyond simple updates into a more fluid, personal design that can be used as a tool for Internet marketers and business owners worldwide.
What kind of support or types of people do you need to accelerate your success?
I surround myself with people that choose to be positive and spend as much time exercising their knowledge outside of their job as they have ever been required to do to obtain their current job. The people I have and love in my life are keen on being grounded and staying centered; they have an awesome ability to develop strong, reliable routine while remaining entirely spontaneous in their decisions. These are the people that help get me beyond my own mental boundaries and into a whole new realm!
What makes you or your work different from everybody else?
That’s a great question! When creating a content strategy, I choose to focus on exemplifying the internal voice of a company like Boostability rather than just trying to deliver a mass of content around a given subject area. Sometimes that makes our blogging style a little more informal and conversational. I want readers to get to know individual writers and the company. I want readers to be eager for new content because it makes them laugh and teaches them about important business and marketing updates.
Thank you!
